![]() Jack requires you to install the audio connection kit (qjackctl, through synaptic) in order to use it,and manually connect inputs to outputs(complicated if you don't know how), whereas Alsa is pretty trouble-free. Have you tried to enable ALSA as the output system? When you go into LMMS, click edit, settings, this brings up the "general settings" panel.Ĭlick on the speaker icon, & it presents you with a drop-down which will give you several choices: ALSA, Dummy, Jack, OSS, Pulse-Audio & SDL.
